Easy Banana Bread Family Recipe!

Our ten month old daughter has been exploring the world of solid food. She loves to eat! One of her favorite foods is bananas..... they are healthy, cheap, tasty and since they have skin, we do not have to worry about buying organic. My husband loves to cook and bake and he wanted to make a yummy dessert with bananas that the whole family could enjoy. He  created this banana bread recipe and our daughter loves it. It is a great way to use the extra overripe bananas that we aways have laying around. Hope that you enjoy this recipe as much as we do!

Tip: If you have over ripe bananas in the house but no time to bake banana bread you can freeze the bananas and use them at a later time to bake this yummy dessert/breakfast food ( just make sure to take the skin off first)!

Ingredients:

3 ripe bananas
2 cups of flour
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp of baking powder
1 tsp of baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 stick of butter (or margarine)
2 eggs

Mix all of the ingredients together. Pour the mixture into a large loaf pan ( or split into two smaller loaf pans for quicker baking). Feel free to add brown sugar or chopped nuts. Bake in two small pans for 35 minutes or one large pan for 50 - 60 minutes. Enjoy!
